As summer is coming to an end, so is the chance of lounging around in those simple cotton dresses! Thankfully, the east coast has being fluctuating with weather patterns, which only means we have some extra time to stretch out our summer wardrobes!
This past Friday I met up with a friend at BJ Restaurant and Brewhouse for a night of good food and good conversation! The weather had been fairly warm all day, so i decided to wear a summery dress with some fall colours to tie in the night!
I opted for a cotton nude colored dress with tan and dark brown striped detailing on the bottom! Its a pretty sheer fabrics, hence the attached long silk camisole underneath. It's stinched at the waist area, with optional belt loops. I personally love dresses with stinched waist lines that give off an A line look. I think they look very feminine and flirty, and they are so fun! I decided to go with a chocolate brown slim braided belt to add some darker hues of brown. Not pictured, but i took a brown cardigan just in case i got cold at dinner! It's always better to be prepared :)
Sticking with the natural nudes theme, I paired my white Fossil watch which has gold detailing, and a clear beaded bracelet, as well as my gold band and bow ring.
Since most of the ouftit was neutral I decided to go with a bold color for my shoes and bag. Without fail, these two pieces have been my 2014 favorites so far! The Tory Burch flip flops in this cobalt blue just added some color along with my everyday blue bag.
For makeup i kept things simple and fresh, with touseled beach waves!
