Spring is finally here, so I decided to go through my skincare stash and change up a few products! I usually try to keep it at a minimal. Since the weather will be getting better and it'll not be as harsh as winter, I like to keep my spring skincare light and simple!
To remove my make up or just clean my face, I have been using the Neutrogena Ultra Gentle cleanser. It is light and creamy enough to break up any oil based makeup and dirt that has been on my face all day! It's perfect for starting off your routine, because it helps in clearing out all the gunk, and leaving my face fresh and clean, without it being tight. I also find that the pump packaging is super sanitary and easy to use! I prefer using this in the shower itself!
I have been loving the Neutrogena Rainbath shower gels especially the one in Pear and Green Tea! Its so refreshing and invigorating! It's literally the best spring time shower gel and I urge you all to try it out!
To follow up with my cleanser from my shower, I have been LOVING the L'ancome Re-hydrating Comforting toner! This is by far the best toner I have used. I spoke about this toner in my previous morning skincare post. It's light, yet moisturizing, with such a calming scent that makes me want to just drift away from all my worries! lol All jokes aside, it's a splurge, but one that you won't regret! I usually apply it with a cotton pad and dab it all over my face! Toners are great for balancing your skin's pH levels, and to remove any residue dirt or make up that the cleaner did not get.
Even though the winter is gone, it's still super important to make sure your skin is hydrated enough! I love using the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum. It's a light weight serum that is oil-free that improves the appearance of dark spots, promotes even skin tone, and boosts radiance. I have been using it for about 6 months now, and have seen the difference it has made!
To complete moisturizing my face, I switched to the L'Oreal Paris Hydra-Renewal face cream for the spring time. It's light enough to use in this time of the year, but still very moisturizing! It blends well with your skin and absorbs quickly, so you don't end up with greasy pillow case!
A few days a week, I like to just spritz the ends of my hair with the OGX argon oil of morocco! It's a weightless healing dry oil that helps with eliminating split ends and frizziness! Just a little TLC for my hair!
While it's important to keep you face moisturized, I always try to keep my body hydrated too! I have decided this year to go with something lighter than a body butter. I have been loving the Bath and Body Work's body cream in Stress Relief from their Aromatherapy collection! It's scent just relaxes me with essential oils like eucalyptus and spearmint! It's a good way to unwind from the day and just drift off to your dream land!
So there you have it! It's not a perfect routine, but simple enough that I'll stick to it! lol I'm all about the hassle free life! What are some products you use at night?
ps. This post was sponsored by Neutrogena, but the opinions are all mine! :)
pss. All products mentioned above can be bought at your local Bath and Body works, drugstore, ie Target or Walgreens. I purchased the L'ancome toner from Macy's.
