I am constantly finding new shampoos and conditioners to try out, mainly because my hair is pretty manageable. I don't usually need a million things to style my hair, which I am so thankful for! Because of this luxury, I am constantly trying out different products, to see what all is out there. I do have a few favorites and go to, which I might do a post on later.
I have used the HASK Argan Oil repairing shampoo and conditioner before, so when I came across their Almond Mint collection, I was on board to give it a try. The Almond Oil collection comes with a shampoo, conditioner and a root thickening spray.
The shampoo and conditioner both come in pretty large sized bottles. They are plastic, so the chances of a tragic accident in the shower is eliminated! Both products are free of: sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colors. I love products that are actually good for your hair and your health!
The thickening mint almond oil shampoo claims to boost and restore your lifeless locks. It's known for its high content of omega fatty acids, vitamin E and magnesium. In addition, almond oil helps increase body and volume while adding nourishing shine to hair. With the bio3 thickening complex and peppermint oil, it really invigorates your hair and scalp. It leaves a clean and healthy feel. I think it does a wonderful job cleansing all the dirt and product residue, without stripping away my hair's natural oils.
Similar to the shampoo, the thickening conditioner claims to soften and liven up dull, flat hair. With components like ginseng, peppermint oil and almond oil, my hair feels super soft and healthy! I do however feel that, a little goes a long way with the conditioner. It is very rich and creamy, so if you use too much, your hair might be a little to greasy. Just something to remember. The two products together, really wake me up in the morning, leaving my hair silky and soft all day long. I have been trying to reduce the amount of heat i put on my hair recently, and the almond oil really helps in calming those pesky fly aways and keep my hair frizz free.
The root thickening spray has the same components of the shampoo and conditioner. I usually use this maybe once a week. I don't really seem to have any problems with thin hair, or at least not yet! But I like to spritz this to the roots of my hair, once a week after I wash my hair. I normally let it air dry, and I have noticed that it does really just add some extra texture and volume to your roots. It is a spray bottle which makes this product a lot easier to use!
Overall, I think Hask did a great job with this collection! The products works wonderfully, it smells relaxing and invigorating! Exactly what you need after a long hectic week! You can buy Hask products at Ulta, and they are very affordable!
