This year has been the year of Charcoal! Charcoal masks, soaps, and even hair care! I know that activated charcoal is in some of the best face masks out there, which is why I was so excited to know that Hask came out with a charcoal hair line!

For those of you that do not know about HASK, what are you doing? Just kidding, but seriously, Hask is one of my favorite hair care lines out in the market, and the best part is that it is super affordable! You can buy it at Ulta for less than $10, which is drugstore prices, but way better results!

The purifying shampoo and conditioner come in 12 fl oz bottles each, and are plastic, which are safe to use in the shower! They both have infused citrus oils which cleanse and clarify all the impurities from your hair and scalp. So you know all the dry shampoo from the week or the copious amounts of hair spray you sprayed on to keep the weekend do, well this shampoo and conditioner will go deep into your scalp and wash it all out!

The citrus and grapefruit oils also leave a clean summer scent to your hair, which i'm sure you will appreciate! And I know you must be thinking if it's safe to put charcoal in your hair? I am here to tell you that it's not only safe, but it actually helps in detoxifying your scalp from all of the product residue, sweat from the summer heat and any other gunk that may have stored in there!

If you're anything like me, a good hair mask is my perfect Sunday! I am all about pampering myself on Sundays to treat myself for the week! I think it's important to take some time off to reward yourself and celebrate you! Lately I have been loving the Hask Charcoal with Citrus Oil Purifying Deep Conditioner! It's got the same properties as the shampoo and conditioner duo, but actually helps in softening your hair post all the sea salt beach waves your hair has been enduring! I apply it to clean wet hair for about 10 minutes, while i'm masking up my face in the shower.
Needless to say that all the HASK products are free of sulfates, parabens, phthalates, gluten, drying alcohol and artificial colors. They are safe to use on color treated hair and perfect for all other types!
Hope you all are having a fantastic summer!
