Another one of my favorites is a new discovery this year to me, thanks to my sister; the Chapstick Pumpkin Pie lip balm.
So I mentioned in my Happy Fall post that I am obsessed with all things fall! The leaves changing color, or that fall crisp air. But most of all, it's my weakness for all things pumpkin!
It's one of the few scents or flavors, other than hazelnut and caramel or apples that get me in the festive mood! And the best thing about fall is that the next thing to get excited about is Christmas time! But before I get ahead of myself, let me get back on track! Pumpkins!
Obviously, pumpkin carving would have to be on top of the list! It's such a festive activity to do with family and/or friends to get in the mood of Halloween! With a million ideas to carve out and display out and around the house!
I was a loyal customer to the Chapstick brand of lip balms in high school, along with the Soft Lips balms, but always thought Chapstick gave better results. So when my sister bought this little gift for me, I was overjoyed to relive the old days in this seasonal flavor! If you love all things pumpkin, you will fall in love with this chapstick!
Trader Joe's has wow-ed me again! I absolutely love their Chai Latte Tea mix, so naturally with pumpkin spice added in, I had to get it! It's a powder form, and comes with a plastic spoon. The directions say to just add water, but I like my chai lattes a little more creamier. So I added a bit of soy milk, to get a little more richness to the drink! It's a fall must for me!
Lastly, for now at least, I am all about living the life on a budget. Being a student, you learn to live and enjoy the budget life, till you are settled, then that's a different story! Insert innocent face here! Anyways! The one thing that comes to my mind when I think of fall time, is candles! And all though I was tempted to get a pumpkin spiced scent, I controlled myself and decided to step out of the pumpkin bubble!
Did you all know that IKEA sells candles? The SINNLIG Scented candle in the Vanilla scent have been a favorite of mine through out this year! They are dirt cheap for the amount you get, and usually last a few weeks! They burn for a long time and you can actually smell the scent pretty quickly. All though my favorite have been the Yankee Candles, but I always like having options!
Hope you all are enjoying the fall warmth!
