It's that time of the year, the time of reinvention! The need of being better and living better is the buzz around town! I am not one for believing in keeping resolutions, mainly because they fade out, but it's so addicting not to! I believe there is something clarifying with the phase "New year, New me" and while it may be short lived for some, it gives you hope to change. With that note, I decided to make some very simple new years resolutions this year. Not the typical ones that usually last about a month, but ones that will hopefully stick throughout the year. I guess time will tell! So there they go!
1. Drink more water. This is pretty self explanatory! I feel I don't drink enough water, so hoping this year will be different!
2. Quit carbonated drinks. This includes your Coco Cola and Sprite, or my all time favorite - Fanta, with hopes I can substitute them with water or fresh juices.
3. Continue working out. I always have problems keeping this resolution for most years. I tend to be good for a few months and then just randomly stop. So this year I plan to do some sort of exercise, may it be: cardio, weight training or swimming, each day, to get my blood flowing and to keep me on track!
4. Be grateful. This last resolution is just something I strive for each day, and plan on continuing into the year! It is so important to stay happy and grateful. I sometimes, tend to take people and things for granted in my life, so this will help me to get prospective, and be happy with what I have at the moment.
So that is all for my resolutions. As you can tell, I tried to keep it short and simple. This way there are more chances of them staying permanent throughout the year! Fingers crossed! Do you have any new year's resolutions? Tell me in the comments!
