If you know me, you know I love fall, which is why I wanted to share some of my favorite things to enjoy every minute of it! It's the season after summer, and it's also when things tend to slow down after crazy summer parties and vacations. I always get a sense of awareness during the autumn and I try to re-organize my life. There is something very therapeutic for me when the leaves change colors and eventually start to fall!
1. Pumpkin Everything!
I am such a basic girl when it comes to autumn, and I don't even try to hide it! My social media gets taken over by the numerous PSLs I consume during this time. This fall I decided to venture out and tried the Salted Caramel Latte from Starbucks and was very pleased with the flavor. It's always good to have options! So whether is my Starbucks orders or my pumpkin flavored coffee for my Keurig, I try to embrace it all, since you can't really be drinking pumpkin flavored coffee in the summer your know? Exactly!
2. Home Decor
With autumn started, I love to decorate with little fall pieces around my home. I don't mean for it to look like a fall festival, but little touches around the house make me feel all warm and cozy. For example, a fall leaves garland, which you can easily buy at your local craft store, or a festive wreath to hang on your front door. I also suggest places a few candles around your house to make your home smell amazing!
3. Fall Festivals
This time of the year there are multiple fall festivals that are probably a beautiful drive away. You could gather up some friends or family and make a day out of it. The weather where we live has been so pleasant, that a day out to such festivals sounds perfect. With activities like apple picking and selecting pumpkins for decorations and recipes it's always a fun way to spend time with loved ones and enjoy the moment!
All though it's always fun to go to wineries year round, the fall colors and crisp autumn chill combined with great friends and good wine sum up to one of my best autumn activities.
5. Capture It
Get around to finally making that photo album you promised yourself you would do. The fall colors, flannel shirts and comfy boots are all great ingredients to the best start of a holiday photo album.
