Hello lovelies! If you all have been following my Instagram stories lately, you know I've been on a health kick recently. I always get like this when it starts to get warmer outside. Maybe it's the fact that I'm a summer baby, it's innate I suppose! Between the green juices and oatmeal pancakes, the only thing that stuck for more than a week are the ginger and lemon shots. Now, I know, you honestly can just go to a juicery and buy them for maybe $4 but I say save that money for a mid-day pick me up caffeine kick. Yes, I do realise making it at home just seems like a lot of work, but believe me, I'm lazy, so if I can do it, you can do it too!
It does help that the juicer I am currently using is awesome and what I mean by that, is that it juices anything, with no prep needed! But I do realize not everyone has a juicer, so in that case, a blender or a Nutribullet type gadget will do. If you want to go real old school and grate the ingredients, more power to you!
Ginger & Lemon Shot
I usually make enough for 7 days, and store it in seven small containers for each day. This way I can have one every morning without any excuses! Hope you all get inspired to do the same! Happy juicing! xx
