I know I don't need to tell you all how important water is for our daily bodily functions. It's one of those tips that I and many others have tried to instill upon you, so I am going try and not be rudundant in this post. While I do still want to emphasize the importance of drinking plenty of water everyday, I figured I'd share some of my favorite spa water recipies with you all. They are very simple to make, and requre ingredients straight from your kitchen!
LIME, MINT AND CUCUMBER

This water is the basic of all the spa waters out there. It is simple enough to make for a large pitcher or even a glass for yourself. I like to thinly slice my lime and cucumber so that I am not getting chunks of veggies while I am drinking my water. Mint is rich in antioxidants and it helps in digestion. This combination is great for refreshing break during a hectic day.

LEMON AND ROSEMARY

Take the back of a wooden or rubber spatula and scrape out or push out a few strands of rosemary leaves and then add them to your pitcher or glass. Fill up with some water and add a few slices of lemon. The lemon will all the essence of the rosemary to steep into the water and relax your mind and body.
BERRIES AND MINT

Strawberries. blueberries or rasberries are great fruits since they contain antioxidants, which is great for your skin and body! Adding your choice or all of the berries with a few leaves of mint will leave you feel super charged for your day!
GINGER AND LIME

Ginger is a powerful root that helps cleanse your system, a detox superhero if you will. It helps in digestion and soothes your stomach. A few thin slices or even ab0ut half a teaspoon of grated ginger will do the trick. I love adding a few splases and or slices of lime, to give a extra jolt of flavor to my water.
WARM LEMON AND GINGER

This last recipie is targeted for the morning time, as well as best taken with warm water. I try to get in a cup of warm water with a slice of lemon and ginger to jump start my metabolism first thing in the morning. This will also de-bloat your stomach from a heavy dinner the night before. Since the colder months are coming closer, a cup of warm water sounds heavenly in the morning to me.
